First person shooter games are one of the most favorite genre of video games. Although this is played more effectively in a PC, consoles such as Xbox and PlayStation have created quite a buzz in enabling players to play FPS games in ease thanks to the immensely updated controls they have in their latest consoles.

I'm listing the top FPS games currently in market and you may wish to adjust your shopping list accordingly. You can buy all of them in the Xbox market place as well.

1. Battlefield 1

Battlefield 1 has completely redesigned the experience of playing FPS games in Xbox One. The game starts with "Storm of Steel" in 1918 France, where you as an allied soldier would fight the mighty German army. What makes it special from the types of Medal of Honor is the focus and narrative that goes on with it. The graphics is breath taking and the sounds with controller vibration will definitely awe anyone who is playing this game.

There are five more campaigns available in this game - Through Mud and Blood, Friends in high places, Avanti Savoia, The Runner, Nothing is written. Each of them takes a different part of the WW 1 battlefield and different soldiers who would narrate their story and take you through the first World War. The weapons used are portrayed in great detail and EA/DICE have really given a lot of attention to detail for creating this game.

There are multiple expansion packs available once you have the core game installed - They Shall Not Pass, In the Name of the Tsar, Turning Tides, Apocalypse.

If you have a newly bought console and do not have this game, you are losing out big time. This game is worth every penny spent.
